Resipi Pilihan Cik Angah ; Puding Caramel


BAHAN:

Untuk puding:

10 biji telur
Satu tin susu pekat
Satu sudu tepung gandum
Sedikit esen vanila

Untuk karamel:

Gula

LANGKAH-LANGKAH:

Adunan Puding:

1. Pukul telur, susu pekat, tepung gandum, esen vanila. Tambahkan air sebanyak lebih kurang setengah tin susu tadi.

2. Ketika memukul, jangan terlalu kembang sehingga berbuih.

Karamel:

1. Panaskan gula di dalam kuali sehingga cair.

2. Kacau selalu agar gula mencair dengan sekata. Tambahkan sedikit air.

3. Jika sudah pekat keperangan (berwarna ala-ala golden gitu), angkat segera. Jangan sampai hangit pula.

Kukus:

1. Dalam satu bekas tupperware, tuangkan sedikit karamel membentuk satu lapisan nipis di dasar bekas tersebut.

2. Tuangkan adunan puding di atas lapisan karamel itu, sehingga lebih kurang seinci tebalnya.

3. Masukkan bekas berserta adunan itu ke dalam steamer/pengukus. Kukus sehingga masak (lebih kurang 20-30minit).

4. Setelah masak, terbalikkan bekas tersebut di atas pinggan/dulang bagi mengeluarkan puding tersebut. Biarkan ia menyejuk pada suhu bilik.

5. Masukkan puding ke dalam peti sejuk. Puding sedap dimakan ketika sejuk.
